Your personal and professional networks are people you can reach out to for ideas, support or recommendations, to help you with challenges you face as a small business owner.

People are often surprised by who is actually in their network, so taking a few minutes to reflect on yours can create further connections you may need. Your network can be powerful, so we have some tips on how to strengthen and grow it.

Take the time to reflect on the people in your current network and how they can help support your mental wellbeing.

This toolkit is part of recommendations made by the Small Business Wellbeing and Support Policy Team (The Australian Treasury), following collaboration with small business and mental health representatives. It has been designed to provide tips and guidance on exploring your current connections and networks to make the most of the support networks available to you.
