Small business support

There are many Australian organisations, associations and government initiatives that are focused on supporting small businesses thrive and grow.

The benefits of reaching out to industry associations and advisory services are many:

  • information and advice on industry issues, including regulation and government policies that could affect your business
  • networking opportunities to learn from others
  • education and workshops to expand your skills
  • opportunities for new client and supplier contact building
  • business analysis and financial planning
  • dispute resolution support.

Many of the government services provided to small business are free, or if you are part of an association or business group, the fee is covered by at least a portion of the membership fee.
