Everymind has created a new training program to assist small business owners to develop their knowledge, skills and practices to support their wellbeing and that of their business.
This training will encourage you to reflect on and learn strategies to support your own mental health and wellbeing, and that of your staff.
About the program
The training is available online and can be accessed any time and from any place up until 30 May. There are four 10-15 minute modules to complete, with a variety of activities, case studies and practical tips and tools to explore four key topic areas:
- Mental health and mental illness - understanding your own mental health and that of employees, associates or family and friends
- Stigma - attitudes and beliefs toward mental health and mental illness and how we can reduce stigma
- Effective communication - how to effectively communicate with someone you may be worried about
- Mental health in the workplace - information and tools to address common business stressors and how to create a mentally healthy workplace.
